Cooking Idea : 《 Beef Tongue in Tomato Sauce 》

Ingredients :

Beef Tongue 1 whole

Butter 1 tbsp

Garlic 2 or more for better taste

Celery 1 stick

Carrot 1/2 pc

Onion 1/2 pc

Bay Leaf 3

Salt & Pepper 1.5 tsp

For The Sauce :

Ketchup 2 tbsp

Worcestershire Sauce 1 tbsp

Sugar 1 tbsp

Black Pepper 1 tsp

Directions :

Place beef tongue in water for half a day
Place the beef tongue in the crock of a slow cooker with garlic, celery, carrot, onion, and bay leaves, season with salt & pepper. Pour in enough water to cover.
Cook on low for 8 hours
Take out the beef tongue and let it cool slightly. Peel the outer layer of skin from the beef tongue and remove the rough end. Chop it into bite-size pieces.
Heat butter in a skillet over low heat, add garlic and the sauce and simmer until the sauce gets thick.
Pour the sauce over the beef tongue and ready to serve
